Outstanding Student

Do you know an upstanding student who is empathetic to others and shows compassion on a daily basis? Perhaps this student goes beyond peers in an attempt to include others and practices daily kindness. This is the student we want you to nominate for our Education is Key student award this year—someone who embodies the virtue of empathy.

Outstanding Educator

Do you know a teacher who cultivates empathy in and out of the classroom, a teacher who models compassion and is busy growing students who will someday be the compassionate leaders and change-makers of our world? This educator, who fosters empathy in students and works to guide them toward transformational moments, is the one we want to celebrate as this year’s Education is Key teacher.

2 tickets to the Education is Key Breakfast where the winners will be recognized
Special Commemorative Certificate

Judging Criteria

Nominations will be judged on the following criteria for a total of 30 possible points:

Impact on others and community                                  (10 points)
Dedication to learning in and out of the classroom       (10 points)
The nominee’s unique story                                           (10 points)

All nominations were due by 5pm on Wednesday, March 7, 2018.
Winners will be announced by Monday, March 19, 2018.
